ok, this is for me and for my best friend,
we both need help on the beilmann. The one thing different is that ME(skittles) does it with my left foot in the air but i am right handed. i am stronger on that foot. Then My other friend is right handed and does it with her right foot up. Is there any possible streaches that we both could do.
we both can do the splits (left foot in front Right in back)! I (skittles) can go into the splits and stay there with my nose touching my knee.Is that all i need to do,.
MY friend has great postion but needs help on bringing it up higher. She leads back like a Layback postion. Plz Plz help
thanks so much!!!
~SKITTLES~ and my friend
sorry that this is so long.

the way i learned my beilman was continually strecthing my back and doing those bridges things =)
i found the best way was to work on the biellman off ice... have someone help to raise your leg/arch back as far as you can and then apply resistnace and then raise/arch some more... and just keep doing it until you cna no longer!

Being able to do the splits is good, but what the bielmann really requires is a flexible back. Can you and your friend do the splits and arch your back into a layback position while in the splits? That might help.

If you can do handstands, too, what I would do is do one against a wall and lower your feet toward your head and sort of just let them hang to stretch out your back that way.

Good luck!
