Where can I find a list of A schools and where and how long they are? besides going to a recruiter.

You need to talk to a recruiter. There are a lot of things you will need to learn before making your final choice for the reserves and the answer is no. But, you can go to www.navy.com and look at all the rating information there to narrow your interests. There aren't a million reserve choices really. The Navy needs active duty more.

with the Reserves, you enlist for specific Unit,and the only A schools you can get are the ones that that Unit needs. It's really not worth it to research say, Aviation ratings, if your unit is a CB unit.

best bet os to find out what the unit you want to drill at needs, then go from there. be understood that you WILL attend Boot and A school just like an Active Duty Sailor, all at once.
