but I don't want it to be a healthy receipe! Can I use sour cream instead?

It is a black bean dip. I think sour cream will work fine! Thanks for all your help everyone!!

yes you can.... we often substitute sour cream for plain yogurt in a recipe.....

You can replace the yogurt with sour cream, however this may change the taste somewhat. In that case you may need to "doctor" the dish with more of the spices to get the desired taste. I have done the exact opposite and never had a problem. hope this helps

Recipes don't always call for plain yogurt to make the recipe "healthier" sometimes it makes it taste better. Just make it the way it calls for it. If you want to eat it "unhealthy" use some chips that are super unhealthy. Or wash it down with a soda or beer (both are unhealthy)
