My friend constantly has a boyfriend. One day, she told me that tons of guys liked me, and if I wanted a bf, then she could give me a list of some guys that liked me. But the guy that *I* liked wasn't on there. I know we'll never be together though, because he has been dating this girl since september, and it's going really well. There was another guy I like on there too. Should I go for him and move on? Or should I continue waiting for the taken one? Thanks a million =]

don't be in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship. be in a relationship if you feel right with the person.

Don't feel like you have to have a boyfriend. It's okay not to.

So the guy you have your sights on likes someone else - it is really mature of you to want him to be happy and not interfere and not try to "win him over" from her, etc. You sound like a really good person. Things may go very well for them, and maybe he will end up marrying her, so I'm not sure how long you should really wait around to see if things pan out there.

Maybe it wouldn't be bad to go on a date or two here or there with some of these other boys. Maybe you'll find one that you do like and you'll forget about what's-his-name? Going steady with someone before you are emotionally over this other guy may not be such a good idea. It may hinder the relationship of the guy you are with.

Felicity, don't compare your social life to your friends s/l. So what, if she has plenty of boy friends. How does she know what guy likes you?? I wouldn't rely too much on "what she knows." When a guy is interested in a girl, he will let her know. He'll find lots of reasons to be near her, or in the same room/area as she is in. He'll eventually want to make small talk with you, get your phone number or whatever. In a nutshell, don't go after a guy, wait and let him notice you and start the hot pursuit thingy. Be patient and let Nature take it's course; you will eventually be rewarded.

You're a kid. Enjoy life and be happy. That's infectious and attractive to boys. They will be coming around soon. Don't go after another girl's boyfriend. That's never an option. And don't sit around waiting on him to realise that you are the love of his life, and dump her. That's probably not going to happen. Just be young and happy. Don't give yourself away. Hold on to your self-respect.

Go for the other guy. Who knows you might end up liking him better. I mean would you rather spend your time dreaming of one guy, or having fun with another? It's not like your marrying the guy, you're just gonna go out. Try it out and see how it goes.
