There are 3 different and distinct variations of the book of Quaran all 3 dating back to the time just after the book was written into text. One is in Turkey, one in Egypt, and the other in Britain, all in their own respective museums, kept under lock and key for fear of muslim outlash and all of the museums have received threats to be burned down.
To prove different versions of the quaran will in one stroke prove islam to be a false religion.
Its on the Internet, including pictures of the variant texts, you need to be able to read arabic to see the differences, but they are there.

If you think there is only one Arabic Qur'an, then have a look at this link.
http://answering-islam.org/Green/seven.htm
It will show you that there are more than one accepted Arabic Qur'ans. Also, this shows that it is the Bible that has the authority, as the bible is the one that the Qur'an says is changed, yet scholars say (as the Qur'an says) that God's word cannot be changed, and yet the Qur'an is the one that says it gave us those books.
Therefore, consider Galatians 1:8 and 9 very seriously, and note that a true worshipper of God will look at what GOD says through his word, and not what some RELIGION teaches through their twisted version of what is suitable to them. This warning is for all, including so-called Christians, and so-called Muslims alike. If one is submissive to God, then they will dig deeply to see that what God's word is saying is accurate. The truth is out ther, and it's not hidden. It is just blended in with all the idiots who have decided they are so clever and important through their edumacational standing, and that they are so clever that they aren't wrong, but you are if you go back to basics and see it how it really is. May God bless you on your searches for truth. Know it means your lives ultimately. God does NOT bless false religion. He hates it and calls it a whore/harlot.

Sunnism is the true and Original Islam, why? because the shia's where orignated in Persia mixed their ancient pagan Persian beliefs withing Islam so became to be known as shia. The Persians that time were the only ppl who converted to Islam as the last few people.l. But they also liked Islam and embraced out of their own wil but kept their some part of their original belifes and cutoms. If Islam originated in Arabia and spread by Sunni Islam then obviosuly the Sunni Islam is the true Islam. Also considering majorty of Muslims are Sunni aswell. Like i said its the ancient persians who mixed their backward pagan zorastrian beliefs within Islam. Also some were jews and it has been said some part of judaims is within Islam aswell. But as u see now in the current state of Iran all the immorales, all the degrademtn of women and men, all the demeaning of people, all the clubbing and sex withing women and men, etc, all because they dont have strong inner beliefs. They know deep down their version of Islam is not true and does not convince them. Also the fact u hardly ever see or hear shia martyrs or sucice bombers. Am not saying sucide is right but if u have to defend urself and family and faith u do what u have to but u never see or hear shia doing that, why? maybe like i said they dont have true strong inner belief. Peace!.

There is only one Quran and that is in Arabic. There are translations into English of the meaning of the Quran.
My personal suggestion would be to read the Muhsin Khan translation but also get the Yusuf Ali w/commentary version for reference.

There are different translations, but in Arabic there's only one version. My favorite translation, when studying Islam, is the Abdullah Yusuf Ali, but I also have a few other translations but I always go back to the Yusuf Ali translation because it has the Arabic right there w/ the English.

there are at least five different qurans in the world today: Warsh; Hafs; As Susi: Al Duri and Al Qalun and they are different. This flies in the face of the teaching of the Preserved Tablet because which one is on teh Preserved TAblet? As Susi? Al Duri? Al Qalun? Al Warsh? Al Hafs?

Hi, if I ask u to write 'Alekhandra' how'd u write it? Of course, as I just did. But, my friend someone from Spain may write it as 'Alejandra'. A Sudanese may write 'Tarig', but for others it may be 'Tariq'. When they are spoken by their natives, they pronounce the same to a listener. I have a Danish friend, if she had spoken her name to me first time, I would write it as 'MAYA', but she write it as 'MAJA', yet pronounces it 'Maya' :) This is not called 'variation', especially when we are talking about a book written upon listen words!
So, to all readers with respect, if the same book was 'read' to people various parts of the World, of course they would write different words according to their own way.
When you talk about variation, please bring into light the passages which do not 'read' the same. I guarenty you would fail to do so. Thank you :)

Yes.
There are Arabic language Qurans (they're referred to as "wrapped") and there are Qurans in other languages (referred to as "unwrapped".) I asked about this when I saw them in Middle Eastern book stores.
The "wrapped" Qurans are not to be touched by the hands of infidels because they are written in the holy language (they are covered with shrinkwrap). Unwrapped Qurans are available for those who don't speak Arabic so that they can benefit from the readings.
(This is just one of many ways that Muslims try to mechanically discrimminate and eventually eliminate all non Muslims. Most Muslims will deny this charge, but extremists number in the tens of thousands are murdering people all over the world for being non-Muslim, including Buddhists in Thailand, Burma, Bangladesh and India, and non-violent Muslims are justifying it or doing nothing to stop it.)
