Under *deductions* it says mid-month pay. Not allotments, sorry.

okay here's how it works.. all pays allowances and whatnot are paid once a month. All deductions are also taken back out once a month. Once the two have been reconciled, the leftovers is divided in equal parts and half paid on the 15th and half paid on the 1st.

so yes, while BAH is paid once a month, you get it in two installments..half on the 15th and half on the 1st.

'mid month' pay is the amount of the 15th's paycheck.

Pay and allowances are based on monthly rates; however, military members get paid twice per month.

you get paid BAH and BAS once a month ... BAS is the same for everyone but BAH is based on his DUTY zip code.

Each of his checks should be of equal amount. monthly base pay, BAH, etc will be split between the two checks.

This is fairly simple......Your husband gets X amount of dollars each month (that is everything.....housing allowance....hazardous duty.....everything)..... he optioned for being paid twice each month......
They take his total pay.......and deduct HALF...... then on the 15th they give him the half that was deducted..
