Wanting to propose to my gf who lives in Pittsburgh. I no longer live there so I'm flying in to surprise her. Have reservations at the Grand Concourse for dinner, but I don't want to propose during dinner. I want to be able to get down on one knee, and from talking with mgt at the Concourse it sounds like there's not a good place to do it beforehand there. Keep in mind it's December, so outdoors would be too cold. The Phipps conservatory had crossed my mind as well... Thoughts?

At a Penguins game, you could have "will you marry me" on the big screens.

What about the tram across from the river and stadiums. Not sure what its called but as a tourist I thought that was a pretty cool spot.

If you can do it outside, take the incline up Mount Washington and propose at one of the lookouts! It will be beautiful!
