None of the above.
For New Years I usually go with a beer slightly higher in alcohol and taste. Last year I drank Hennepins. Not sure what I'll have this year.. my girlfriend doesn't like stouts so I'll probably stick with the same as last or something similar. Maybe a nice IPA.
As far as the liquor does I tend to go top shelf. I've been enjoying Pyrat XO Reserve lately however. Not exactly top shelf but far better in taste than Turkey or SoCo. I'm not a huge liquor drinker, I much more enjoy beer. Real Beer.

No hard liquor for me.
And if I am going to go with beer (which I probably would) I would most definitely avoid Budweiser or Miller, as those don't even qualify as beer.
Samuel Adams, Yuengling, Guinness, Murphy's, Smithwick's, Newcastle, just about any ale from Belgium, or a good microbrew is what beer is.

No thank you, I'll pass on the watered down piss-water. I'll be having real homebrew beer, something that doesn't have rice in it.
And while I do like SoCo, This year we'll be drinking Applejack.
