Ok most Jones Soda products are now being made with pure cane sugar. Is that healthier for us than the normal sweetener high fructose corn syrup (or HFCS for short)? I knw it tastes better and is better for the environment, but is it healthier to us?

Yes! Corn syrup is one of the worst ingredients for you. It's genetically altered sugar, basically. It has been shown to make you feel more hungry than you really are, resulting in making you eat more, and gain weight. Everyone should avoid eat (or drinking) it.
I hope this helped. :)

Asking if cane sugar is more healthy than corn syrup is like asking if smoking cigars is any healthier than pipe tobacco. It's simply a choice in sweeteners.
I have heard though that in the soda making community there's a split of purists that use HFCS and then everybody else. I don't really know how this pertains to your question but other small soda makers don't use anything but HFCS on principle alone. This is also only word of mouth, I make beer and this is simply what some guy that makes soda told me.

It is a bit healthier than regular soda.
It has lots of sugar but sometimes sugar isn't too bad for you. There's sugar in everything. There is nothing wrong with pure cane sugar if you have it in moderation.
Drink it moderately like you should soft drinks. They best thing for us is water.

Jones Soda is awesome. I could get addicted to it. I'm tired of all the old soft drinks, like Coke and Pepsi. Can't wait to try all the Jones holiday flavors. Even the goofy ones.

HEY!!! I am drinking a Green Apple one right now! 46 grams of sugar is pretty high, though! It's my bad love for now. Artificial sweeteners can be bad for you, too, though. They can cause immuno and digestive problems. Water is always best.

No, sugar period is not good for us, so even though they switched, it's still not better for you. Sugar free would be the best way to go.

sugar is sugar. chemical sweeteners are definately more harsh than natural ones. anything that has been processed is still not the best option.
