Ok so i wanted to know can you elk hunt in southcarolina?? honest answers no jokes.. if you cant then give me a list of places where you can??? thanks

Just as an FYI....Pennsylvania has a huntable elk herd.

Elk were reintroduced into the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, in February of 2001. This encompasses parts of NC and Tenn. I don't think they have been released in SC. The ones in NC are highly protected, and wear tracking collars. The ones in NC came from the Kentucky herd. That may be the closest place to actually hunt one, if you are lucky enough to get a permit....which are $365 and they only issue 300 by lottery.....

If you're going to hunt elk in SC make sure you have the zoo keepers permission 1st, because that's the only place in SC you'll find an elk, in the zoo.
You need to go to one of the northern midwestern states or Canada,or Alaska to hunt elk.

pennasylvania and kentucky have elk seasons lottery draw(only states in east i know of) other than farms, i dont believe south carolina has elk

You can hunt them in Arizona though, hardly a northern midwestern states or Canada,or Alaska
