I like a little of everything.
My only true requirement is that the music must be rather loud. Loud music can work in two ways for me, as I please: If I wish, I can think more deeply, or I can lose all thought whatsoever. It simply depends upon what I need to think about, or need to stop thinking about.
Songs I've listened to a lot lately:
-Stan; Eminem
-This Is The New Sh!t; Marilyn Manson
-Suicide is Painless; Marilyn Manson
-Coma White; Marilyn Manson
-Mirrors; Envy On The Coast
-Liar Liar; The Used
-Paralyzed; The Used
-A Box Full Of Sharp Objects; The Used.
-An unlimited variety of classical music, particularly piano and violin.

I usually listen to WPRB when I do listen to the receiver; it's Princeton University. They play alot of rare stuff that most folks never even hear of. All different types everything from Classical to hillbilly to new age Hindu punk rock: some unusal, some interesting, some good, a different mix.
have a great week!

Introspection on what? I've always a similar question to John: So this is Christmas.. What have you done? Another year's over, a new one's just begun..

Grieg is always good. I also enjoy authentic, REAL traditional Irish music (not this Celtic Women junk that's being pawned off as traditional...)...there is something deep about it for me.
You are welcome for the answer, and thank you for the wonderful day offer. I think I'll take you up on it! You have a good day, too.

Classical music; Mussorgsky's "Pictures At An Exhibition" is tops in my book.
