Muslims can you defend this?

I am a recent convert and I'm starting to regret it. Read what someone posted on my other questions:

Muslims are taught to lie in order to preserve their religion. It's called Taqiyya .

If you really study Islam, the history, you will turn away running as fast as you can.

I can see why you may have been seduced into the religion- there are many beautiful passages and sayings in the Qur'an... however, everything that is beautiful and good in Islam was stolen, borrowed and plagiarized from OTHER legitimate religions!

For example did you know that the following facts have been thoroughly documented by devout muslims in islamic texts ? ---
*muhammad robbed caravans,

*he beheaded 600-900 men of the Banu Qurayza tribe after they unconditionally surrendered (and took the women and children as slaves)

*he had many wives but even more slave girls that he raped Quran 33:50

*he raped Safiyya bint Huyaay (17yrs old) in a forced marriage the very night his troops killed her husband and parents,

*he systematically raped little Aisha from age 9 and on (he was 56) while she cleaned semen off of his clothes...


Is this the truth? What is up with that?!

In the Tanakh, God promised Abraham (which father can bear to send his son away?) that from Ishmael will rise a great nation. I believe that this is true because of the rise of the Islamic Empire, truly if God had not ordained it, Mohammad would not have accomplished what he did, therefore validizing the fact that he was indeed a Holy Prophet of God, just like Moses, and Jesus.

'And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her: 'What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him fast by thy hand; for I will make him a great nation'
-Old Testament/Tanakh

From the above verse it surely means that God had something planned for the descendents of Ishmael (Mohamad and the Arabs, the Islamic Empire), the fact that a descendent of Ishmael became Prophet, only shows that God is not racist, God is for all, regardless of who you descended from, and this is what He delivers in the Holy Quran. And we believe that referance to Muhamad has been made a number of times in the Tanach/Old Testament, which you decide for yourself at:

PS. I have also read 'Origins of the Koran', where most of the scholars tried to validate that Mohamad was a false prophet, and that he plagiarized from Judaism, Christianity, and Zoroastorism, so I know that I'm defending Prophet Muhamad on the basis of rejecting those 'theories' about him. One has to look at the bibles that come out before the Quran to see that Muhamad's duty (as God commands him) was to bring back the people into Monotheism, the belief in one and only one God, and to adhere to the true teachings of God as has been sent down to those before him.

I don't know that there is anything that can be done. All happens for a reason . There must be some evil reason behind why the Media go about painting such a negative picture of Islam but even so; Many have chosen to investigate matters for them selves, this is what leads many to Convert to Islam these days. So even in the propaganda comes something good. There are many Muslims in Muslim countries that are not Muslims in their heart. Isn't there a Hadith or verse that points to converts rising and teaching The Muslims how to be true Muslims? I don't know this, somebody just mentioned it recently.

Muhammad(PBUH*) did not rob caravans or behead people. Muhammad(PBUH*) did not rape slaves. He treated slaves with respect as well as prisoners of war. Muhammad(PBUH*) only had 12 wives and all of his wives except Aisha were 17 and older and a few of them were widows. This person who told you this is a liar and is trying to lead you from Islam after you have already reverted. Muslims did a lot for the people in the world. A Muslim perfected the Roman numeral system by adding the number 0 making bigger numbers possible. Muslims made great strides in medicine, biology, Chemistry, astronomy, physics, agriculture, etc. Muslims painted many of the Churches and palaces in Spain. Muslims were the first people to see the New World. They arrived here years before Columbus did. In fact if you read a book on Columbus he admits he saw a Mosque in the Canary Islands when he sailed here. Muslims were the people who invented democracy. They invented many of the inventions that the West uses to this day. It was a Muslim who wrote the first book on medicine and that book was used by the worldwide community for 700 years! It was a Muslim who invented many of the modern day surgical instruments. Congrats on your reversion to Islam. Don't let people who know nothing about Islam try to tell you that it is a false religion.

There are many lies about Prophet Muhammad.
You need to look at what the person said about Islam. Obviously the one who wrote this is someone who hates Islam . I suggest that you get a good book on the sira (biography) of Prophet Muhammad and read it for yourself.

A good lot of things that you read about from the 'Sahih' hadith books are actually falsehoods and lies against our Prophet (SAW). And a good lot of the quotes from the Quran and hadith are taken out of context. The way to know truth from falsehood is to use your noggin, read the Quran with a good commentary (reading the Quran is not enough for those who don't know the history and reasons for the revelation of particular verses), read accredited books, and learn about Shia Islam (original Islam) from Shia sources.

Don't give up on the true religion, and please don't believe every lowly thing the evil people say about the Prophet. They only lie about him because they know he was right.

First of all there has to be actual sources, no Quran I have ever read contains the quotes listed. Everything listed has been twisted or taken out of context. Muslims are taught to lie??? Oh really??? I must have missed those classes. The whole post is a joke and you are just trolling.

All that stuff is b*llsh*t. Ask your local imam all these questions and he will explain it to you. These people want to discourage you and this is the last stage where there is a chance to change your mind, since you're still new. Trust me, all those things are either lies or truths that are pervertedly twisted. Be strong and have faith that you made the right decision.

Taqiyya is allowed only if a Muslim was under torture that threatens his life.
Beni Qurayaza were killed because they betrayed the agreement between them and Muslims and co-operated with Muslim enemies during war.
