Well everyone wants a well-rounded meal, but people also want a square deal, hence a round pizza comes in a square box.
Yes, square boxes are easier to make and assemble, but I like my analogy better. :-)

It is probably easier to carry around a box rather than a circle. I mean really c'mon now, pizzas come in squares too. And just because they come in squares does not mean that they come in round boxes. But i guess there is no real reason.

Round boxes really aren't conducive to portability.
Also easier to make and produce and put together a square box

round boxes cost more to make, then you have to put them together, which takes longer( due to more flaps) which is more money.
square boxes are easy to construct.
