also, as they say we must have 8 glasses of water/day. Is it safe to drink 4 glasses in morning and 4 in evening, all in a go?

I really can't "keep drinking" water all throughout the day.

please answer all question. Thank you.

i would have to agree with lv_consultant the most. you really should drink it consistantly throughout the day instead of all at once two times a day. just because it's like if you eat 2 meals a day with all your needed calories verses eating 5 times a day (like you should) with all your needed calories. it makes your body do weird things. it's not going to hurt to drink your water like that, but you're not going to get your best results.
you will gain "water weight". if you increase the amount of water you're drinking and your body's not used to drinking that certain amount of water, it kinda goes into a "survival" mode. at first you're going to retain that water because you're body is thinking, "oh, i don't know when i'm going to get this amount of water next, so i need to hold onto to it for a while". same thing why most people gain weight after a crash diet.
i've just recently started drinking 8 glasses of water per day and i've started to gain weight. the first day i gained 6 lbs. now, i would say that i'm above average when it comes to retaining water. some times i take diurex, which is a diuretic pill to help you loose water weight. if i don't my skin will get so tight and uncomfortable from the water retention that i have to do something. if i take it as directed i can loose about 8-10 lbs of water weight in one day. i think it's that high, just because i DO retain A TON of water. but i only lose a large amount 1 or 2 days and then none after.
when "they" say drink 8 glasses per day it's a lot more than you might think. i'm supposed to drink about 8 glasses containing about 14-15oz per glass. there are different factors that go into how much water you should drink: weight, climate, activity levels, if you smoke, if you're sick, pregnant... i could go on.
i'm not 100% sure, but i would say that drinking more water would help you to lose wieght (it might not be the rapid results you're looking for). i think it has a little bit to do with that water is a healthy and necessary thing for our bodies survival, but also because if you're drinking it constantly you're less likely to be drinking other unhealthy things that contribute to weight gain ie. soda, alcohol, certain juices, coffee, or flavored drinks, and from constantly drinking water you'll be more full and you won't eat as much. i drink about 2-12 oz glasses of water before a meal and one with. or if i want something else to drink with my meal, i just drink it later like in between a meal.
eventually, after your body gets used to the water intake that it's not normally used to, what ever water weight you do gain will drop off and the constant urge to go pee ALL the time will go away to how you were before.
below are a few different websites to help you calculate the amount of water you should drink daily. they all give different amounts to drink, but they also ask different questions, so just go somewhere in the middle. the last one adds a little bit more info than just throwing an amount at you.
i know i've added a lot more than what you probably wanted to know and maybe not enough of what you did, but i hope maybe i've shed some light on something that might be of use. and i sure hope i didn't tell you a bunch of stuff you already knew. that's always annoying ;).

Negative. You run the risk of retainning too much water which can actaully make you GAIN weight instead of losing it. Throw in a balanced and smart diet with exercise and it will help!

Drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water throughout the day is intended to keep you hydrated. Not drinking them will cause a minor amount of weight loss because you will be dehydrated and your cells will therefore be emptier.

Staying hydrated assists in weight loss by ensuring that your metabloism and cells function properly. Water also helps to flush your system of toxins released by your body during digestion.

So basically, water does not directly cause weight gain or loss, but is necassary for proper bodily function.

I think it's better to spread the water more throughout your day, but it's not dangerous. It is however dangerous to drink too mucj water. This will cause you electrolyte balance to get out of whack and could make you pretty sick. I'm not sure if it would relly benefit weight loss at all. Water alone isn't going to really afect your metabolism rate or anything.

water has no calories it will never contribute to weight gain. an insufficient water intake will cause dehydration and decrease metabolic function.

too busy to drink water during the day? that's preposterous. you may need to loosen up your schedule. drinking 4 glasses in the morning and night will not have the same effect as drinking a glass of water every couple of hours.

It might contribute to "water weight", but you will never gain any weight. You might lose weight from it filling you up if you're not hungry. but dude, you really don't need to drink too much, you need to drink as much as your throat and environment demands. Don't hurt yourself, you could literally drown your cells if you go overboard. it takes a lot, but it happens.
