I have recently been avoiding the freeways because I start to get dizzy and have an anxiety attack. Even in the slow lane. I feel like I am going to lose control of my car. Any ideas as to what might cause this? I am not on any meds.

Did you recently get into a car accident or witness one? It sounds like you are having an anxiety attack. I would go see your doctor and until then avoid the freeway

Most likely you are having panic attacks when you drive on the freeway. I have a freind who has the same thing happen to her on the freeways.

If this is the only time you have the panic attacks try to stay off them as much as possible. If you start having panic attacks at other times. Please go your doctor as there is medication that can help you.

There is something in your subconscious that is causing these panic attacks. I would see your doctor. He can give you a medication to help.
