It is written that God sent His Word & healed us from all our diseases. And that God would want us to prosper & be in health even as our souls prosper.
And God gifts chosen Christians with the gift of Faith & Healing Ministry. Or elders in the Church to lay hands on the sick & they shall recover & if they sin their sins are forgiven. I believe we have to do an act of faith, believing in our hearts God wants to heal us, to be healed. To not be critical of the person God gave this Faith & Healing Spiritual Gift to. But to look instead to God the Healer who gives the gift of Faith & Healing to the person obedient to Gods call.

Joanne, That is a misconception. I know of people who were prayed for to be healed of cancer & they recovered. Sometimes it was an obvious miracle. The lump disapeared after being prayed for by the laying on of hands. But your answer confuses me, with the 'Praise God, God must be real.' part. It sounds sarcastic. Could you please make your answer more clear?

solo, That web site offends me. What about the amputee child of God? Don't you think this site would offend them? Jesus said that anyone who offends these little ones who believe in Him, it would have been better if that offender were wrapped in weights & thrown into the sea.
Just to warn you.
I have seen this too often on Yahoo Q&A. It isn't true. God loves & heals amputees.

Solo, God didn't pre plan every abortion & every amputee. That is a lie of the devil. You can't take Gods promises & say they won't come to pass regarding healing.
Jesus revealed to Earthquake Kelly, who went to heaven & back, the children in 3 groups who died early. 1st group died in wars, famines, etc... The 2nd group were abortions from unbelievers. The 3rd group were abortions performed by Church goers who didn't trust God enouph to take care of their babies. Jesus was sad that the babies he gave people, they didn't want. And they gave them back to Jesus. This wasn't Gods purpose. Sin is going against Gods plan & purpose. You need to rethink putting this web site up on yahoo so much. I am sure God doesn't just wink at it.

Amen. Look to God, and if God's will is to grant healing, let it be so!
I have found a few things in this life about healing....
God will only grant it if its within His will.
We as humans don't always have enough faith that God can heal us.
and sometimes God doesn't grant healing until we get to heaven.
I've met many people who have prayed and prayed for healing. But a good lesson to learn if it is not granted, is that sometimes God doesn't grant it until we get to heaven. I think it is better to come this conclusion than resent God for not granting healing.
