the hard cocky rough thug type that wont back down and you know can be capable of doing and saying anything to survive.? or the nice bf type thats caring and knows how to handle a relationship and show affection and sweet to be around?

Ah, both.
With me my guy is the sweetest most affectionate guy you could imagine. He holds doors, kisses my hand, is brilliant at understanding my feelings, tucks my hair behind my ear, etc...
However, with other people? He absolutely gives no ground, doesn't back down and is easily the toughest out of the group we hang out with. He will go from his arm around me and kissing my cheek, to glaring down some guy that is starting with him.
And I think it's a *fantastic* combination.

After having been through a slew of thugs, I finally found a caring loving man who knows how to handle a relationship and is sweet to be around etc. etc.
Believe me - the sweet, affectionate guy is more of a man than the thug ever dreamed.

I find the "fighter" more intriguing, it presents a challenge and is probably the reason that I am single. I get bored when its too easy, or too comfortable. I want to think that I have won something, I have control...etc. It's pretty sick. But I think that a lot of women just want that one bad boy to behave for them ;)
Its also about the feeling of protection that they give, it makes me feel safe and womanly.
Granted, one of my past boyfriends was just sweet and wonderful to me. He treated me better than anyone I have ever been with and to this day I still think he is a stand-up guy. I think it depends on the type of girl to determine her man preference...I like a little spice!

I've always found the "fighter" type to be nothing short of a coward with a tough exterior. Those who have the ability to argue with words, as opposed to violence, show they aren't missing a chromosome like those who instigate. In other words, I prefer someone with brains, not brawn. :)

i like the lovers. Anyone can be a fighter but it take a special person be a true lover. They have the sweet kind personality that you would do anything for
