I don't understand this really, I just want to know why G-d would create someone with powers that they either can't help but use, or are not ALLOWED to use. I don't really believe in psycics...but I do think that if they are REALLY psycics or anyone that has connections with the paranormal, then why is it such a problem to talk to spirits? Is there secrets that cannot be found out?

Excellent question!

It is not God who said he didn't want people to use their natural psychic abilities. It is people who claim to speak for God who have said this.

So much of the confusion in this world is caused by people who are trying to control everyone else by claiming they are the only reliable source of information. Some examples:

1. When the Russian government wanted to control their own people, they built the "Iron Curtain" to prevent the flow of truth and liberating information into the country.

2. When abusive boyfriends or husbands want to control their partner, they try to isolate the woman by scaring away her friends and other supportive and validating contacts.

So when church organizations try to control people's minds with spiritual dogma, claiming that they are the voice of God (or their book is), they have to try to cut people off from any other source of spiritual information, including messages from God himself.

Also, anyone who is running a scam on the people would be threatened by a psychic who can read their mind or have other ways of getting information that would expose their lies.

Consequently, the power elite have convinced people not to trust their own or others' natural connections to the spirit world. They have even accused psychics of getting their power from the devil, but if you check the Bible you'll see that they accused Jesus of getting his power from the devil, too.

Controllers often try to control us by making us fear the very thing that would set us free from their control.

I do not believe anyone can talk to spirits. I do believe that satan can communicate as a spirit. He can appear as an angel of light also. So, it isn't your dead grandma or ,brother, or sister, or grandpa you're hearing from. The Bible warns of this fortune telling and such. The Bible does tell of visions and more will have them in these last days. But these will be from the Lord and not satan. I'm talking from experience.--- You see I was into witchcraft some time ago and I was delivered. I know that the spirits weren't of loved ones, but straight from the devil to trick everyone. This is why I've been on here trying to reach people. I've been there and done that. I could tell you some hair raising stories that some of you WISH you could experience, Your atheisism, witchcraft, and such. I guess that's why I try so hard to get you to repent. I've been on both sides and I can tell you FROM EXPERIENCE that God is the winning side. You young people think you have it all together. You just don't know very much at all. Some of your questions are silly and I can tell that you don't know too much of all this junk. Take it from someone that has been in deep and got out by the grace of God and praying parents. if you could have been involved in and witnessed some of the evil I have, then you too would want to get away from it. If you ever do see it then I hope you are strong enough to endure. It is so scary, that I still have to keep praying when it comes to mind. It's your road and your choice. I pray YOU make the right decision.

You got to remember one thing: The devil also has created things in this old ugly world. Some things are from the devil and being psychic may be one of them. Noone can see the future but God the Bible says and you got to believe this if you are a Christian. Don't mess with the darkness of the world or you become part of it. I know you don't and it is good you've been wondering on this issue. If you think something is not right then most likely it is not from God. And whatever you do always pray about everything and you'll be fine.

First of all being psychic and empathic is a gift from God. The prophets in the bible got visions and told the future, they were psychic. Those that practice black magic were the witches in the bible. I am psychic, my gift is from God not the devil. I believe it is a gift of the holy spirit. I do believe telling future is wrong as the future is a gift from god. I am also a channel-er, I do channel spirits but my guide will not let me channel just anyone. I channel angels for the most part. There are always secrets to be had, smiles, hope that helps.

well first he did not give them that powwer{if your talking about people who speak to the dead}

God strickley is against it
the power comes from the devil

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 teaches: “There shall not be found among you … a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.” God repeats His disapproval in many other passages (see Leviticus 19:31; 20:6,27).

But didn't King Saul consult a spiritist medium? Yes, he did. But remember that, at the time Saul did this, he was living in rebellion against God. In fact, Saul disobeyed his own law, which forbade consulting mediums and spiritists (1 Samuel 28:3-19). 1 Chronicles 10:13 says: “So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, … and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.”

What is your basis for God not wanting psychics to contact the spirits? The Bible has numerous verses based on the contact between a person and a spirit and the advice given in multiple verses is to discern between benevolent and harmful prophecy by checking the results.

In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, I'll highlight a message within the story of Christmas. In this, even the Holy Family graciously allowed the magi into their household and accepted their gifts. The term "wise men" comes from the greek word "magous" meaning a sorceror, seer, or astrologer, all of which practice divination. Not only the family, but the king of their city received these people with open arms and took their words seriously.

To I Love Names: You are selecting pieces of the Scripture and taking them out of context by overgeneralizing them. First of all, the verses come from the contact of Moses and a spirit (reportedly God) within the Tent of Meeting at Sinai. In today's terms, Moses would be called a psychic. Second, look at Deuteronomy 18:15-22 where it commands the people to listen to psychics who truly speak in the name of God and are not faking it, and to kill psychics who speak in the name of other gods.

Now while you are quoting deuteronomy, let me ask if you also follow the other messages from the same psychic Moses.

Exodus 21:20-21 on how to properly beat your slaves: "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property."

Or how about Exodus 21:16-17 on the monetary value of virgin women:
"If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgins."

But then your answer might be that the New Testament is a better source of wisdom. In that case, look at the end of Paul's 1st letter to the Thessalonians where he sums it all up, including this tidbit in verses 19-22: "Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil."

Being open to psychic awareness, or being able to access and perceive the higher reality of another plane of existence is a faculty that one has "earned" over time from pursuing the Esoteric realms of reality in past lives.

This "gift" is not so much "given" to one as one "earns" ones psychic abilities through "good works". Good works mean that one has lived ones life in service to humanity with truth, honor, and a lack of ego or a belief that one is superior.

Many psychics "use" this ability to entertain or to benefit monetarily from the "gift". This will result in its loss. The purpose of a psychic faculty is to help one pursue an inner search for ones own Spirituality.... and doing this is the only beneficial way to use such gifts.

To "speak" to an entity on the Astral region, one must do so via Direct Esoteric communication... or via ones intuition. Words are not used on any plane of Creation other than the physical plane. To do this, one must be able to let go of the delusional notion that ones brain is the way one holds on to "life". One must be able to rise above the fear of going crazy or of going out of control... and this occurs naturally for those with more developed psychic faculties.

The only "secret" about the realms beyond the physical plane that people do not realize is that you cannot "think" about these planes, nor can you use your brain or physical senses to perceive them. As long as one insists on "thinking" oneself to the subtle dimensions of oneself, one remains locked into the physical plane.

The hallmark of a true psychic is one that can tell you things about your past which only you could possibly know. They cannot tell the future but can make a good guess. Their connection with the paranormal is through the demonic.

GOD created people. People work with demons of their own free will.
