The Mayan calendar, probably the most accurate ever conceived, for some unknown reason ends Dec.21, 2012. Take it for what its worth, but Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce also predicted the end of the world shortly after 2000. As to the anti-Christ, the Mayans knew nothing of an anti-Christ so I doubt there will be an appearance of said creature. I personally believe that the end of the world does not mean the Earth will suddenly blow up or such, but that the end of civilization as we know it, will end. Maybe greed, intolerance, and war will stop and love will reign over all.

Look, Although there is alot of evidence that the world may end, it may not be true. The Mayans have indeed ended the calender at 2012 but who knows. Maybe this end of the world is not necessarily a bad thing, it could be a new beginning.
They always say the world will end but hasn't hapened yet. If anyone is the antichrist i would probably say it's george bush. Do not worry about this and worry about the present and not the future. God does not want you to worry... as long as you have faith and accept him as your savior everything will be okay. He doesn't want you to worry. Keep in mind that we are people and just as we make unprecise predictions the Mayans could have done the same. The famous Neutradomas or whatever his name is h made many predictions about the future and the lord doesn't like when people feel that they have power or are psychic. All I have to say is believe and respect god... and you'll be okay.

I could have sworn that Jesus said that it was not for us to know the day nor the hour...
Anyway, antichrists, or rather alleged antichrists, have come and gone over the millennia and we're mostly none the worse for wear for their passing, as a species.
And the 2012 date has no basis in Christian thought at all, but is rather taken from an ancient Mayan "long count" calendar that ends on Dec. 21, 2012. This has filtered into New Age and conspiracy theory thought as being the date marking the end of the world. As my second url shows, trying to pin down the date of the end of the world is nothing new, but getting it right has proven to be a bit more taxing.

I have been studying this topic for awhile now as I am not one that is conformed to what the church teaches on this subject. And that is based on what the bible and other missing books state. Not a personal bias.
Here is a good 50 part series explaining some of what the AntiChrist is and will be. The title is misleading so ignore that. I know the film maker and his research along with mine have paralled for months now.

Super fast version. The UK has already been collapsed and put under 1 nation, 1 cash, Euro. America is next with America, Canada and Mexico, it will be the North American Union and the Amero. If you look around the world, other small groups are forming as well. These form 10 groups. Then they will combine those 10 groups into 1 new world order.
To collapse America, you have to collapse the dollar. In turn that will ripple world wide and collapse the world. In turn allowing this 1 new world order to come to power. Since money has crashed, they will enforce electronic cash on us. In turn, the mark of the beast. But... the Real ID that starts in May of 08' also defines as the mark of the beast by the bible, strong's and websters. Plus we are starring at the RFID chip in our face. Which is also part of the plan.
Some think this all happens in 2012. Some think sooner. I am still putting the puzzle together for it is deep. But most I can say is start preparing, for it is almost here. Think of surviving 100% w/o cash and society, unless of course you want to be marked by the beast. You can check my site at http://www.quietbuck.com to see my progress as I try to figure it out. A Mountain Journey is the main page for this.

No one knows when the Anti-Christ will come..some say...that the Revelation of John...has already happened. The year 2012 comes from the ending of the Mayan Calender...and this is supposed to be the end of the world. Guess we will know in about 4 years, huh?

Look at 1 John 4:2-3. Notice that this passage says the antichrist isn't one particular person, but rather a belief. Not only that, notice that it was there when John was alive. Also look at 1 John 2:18. Notice that the word antichrist is plural. The only other times the word actually appears in scripture is 1 John 2:22 and 2 John 1:7. Never as a destroyer but as a someone who leads people astray with a false doctrine. The word antichrist as you noticed is never mentioned in the book Revelation. The whole false doctrine of one AntiChrist that will destroy us all is created by a lack of careful examination of scripture.

I think that was because those people who were shouting doomsday were all God fearing Christians who lived life without sin and actually followed the word of God by not fornicating with their fellow men & legalizing their marriage. They were the followers of Fox News, and you know why you don't hear from them anymore? Because they got caught up in the Rapture and have all gone to Heaven. But CNN & MSNBC want to deny the existence of God so they never covered that story. The people you thought were republicans are really lizard people from the planet X. But I digress. You were asking about the end of the world. You almost sound disappointed.

Short and to the point:
The Anti-Christs (yes there are more than one) are already here. Any group or person who goes against Christ authority and acknowledges him as the Son of God forms part of this Anti-Christ.

well, according to archios the Mayans stoped making a calender for the year 2012..whatever that means
and the Muslims are sure gonna lose their dome temple if they keep picking fights with the entire world
and the Ark of the Covenant is supposed to be hiden in Lions Gate Ethiopia and when its found we are supposed to be near the end
and Nostrad also thought that was about the time
and science says says theres an asteroid or comet headed our way about that time
so i figure we aer maybe screwed...but then
the Bible says not even the angels in heaven know the time nor day or date so if they all think it will be then it probable wont...but thats when it could all start to fall apart

The Anti-Christ is not going to come in 2012, he's already here and just preparing. (And I'm not even sure I can reveal myself even in 2012, because I still have a lot of stuff to do. Maybe in 2015 or so. Keep your shirt on.)
