I say you should pretty much act like you would at the office, these are the same people after all, just be a little more relaxed. Don't drink too much and try to take this chance to get to know the others a little better. By all means, do not get yourself so worried about it that you freeze up and then can't enjoy any of it; this is supposed to be a good time! I hope you are able to enjoy yourself.

Just as in any other social situation, make conversation and just act like you normally would (well, unless you are just completely unrefined). The only difference between this party and your work is the location....its the same people. Just don't get like crazy drunk or anything like that lol. Its incredibly awkward when you have someone stiff as a pole, not talking at the table.

Don't sit there like you'd rather be somewhere else; they'll think you're uninterested in them (and by extent the company). Without offering too much detail about yourself, chat with them and ask questions, thank the host ... and don't drink alcohol as a way to calm your nerves.

Just have fun, don't drink too much and get to know the people you may not work with on a regular basis. Be a good listener as well. Enjoy

Do you really think those are your best options? Of course you should mingle and be social. Join conversations and speak more than just to answer questions, but don't monopolize the conversation. Drink casually, but don't drink too much.

Unless you're the Girls Gone Wild type, just be yourself.
Don't go around kissing A S S either. Some people like to do that when upper management is around.

Talk with your co-workers, ask polite questions about their plans for the holidays, ask them about where they grew up, went to school, kids, etc. -- the usual social chit-chat. DON'T have more than one alcoholic drink if you're nervous, or you'll end up saying something stupid. Don't hoover around the refreshments as if you're a homeless person casing the joint. Be friendly, but don't flirt with any married people.

Be yourself, have a good time, drink in moderation, and intereact with other people, nobody likes a person who fakes the funk.
