Are environmental jobs about to boom?

I read an article that said environmental jobs will grow tremendously in the next 10 years, much like the tech jobs are growing now. Does anyone have personal experience in this field? Do you agree that environmental jobs are about to soar? I'm interested in anyone's opinions on this matter, as long they are mature about it. Thanks!

I know they are already booming, but do you think that they will continue to do so to the level of tech jobs?

They will probably continue to "boom" for the next few years until we wake up to the fact that "manmade global warming" is a fraudulent idea.
