A recipe I am making, calls for beef broth. I don't have any beef broth cubes or broth. Is there anything that I can do to substitute it? I have chicken bullion cubes only. Please help.

I'm making Ginger Beef Stir Fry. I'm not adding the ginger, though.

Been in the same position, and using the chicken bullion in a stir fry, you'll never know the difference........Just a hint, though, you might want to start keeping track of your bullion cube supply, as the cubes can be used in so many dishes.....Enjoy!!

Yes sometimes I slow cook my meat in water all day and it makes it's own broth I only use broth if I'm throwing something together and dont have much time to cook. If that's the case add a little more salt and pepper or what ever seasoning or herbs you have...I love seasonally for these nights too

Chicken bullion might work depending on the recipe.
If you have the instant french onion soup mix, you can make the soup & strain out the onions - that's fairly close to beef broth (great way of making au jus too). If you have any Gravy Master or any other spice for gravy, you could try that too.
Wish I knew what you were making I could be more specific.
If you have mushrooms, you could try to make a stock by boiling them down with some water and salt, portabella stock would taste similar to beef stock but again, it depends on the recipe.

Chicken will have a lighter taste, so you're not going to end up with the same "richness." But, unless it's something that really needs to have a beef taste, it should work.

If your recipe already includes beef in some form, you should be fine.

You can probably get by with the chicken. Or just use water. Just make certain you add enough other ingredients to make the dish flavorful, like spices, lots of veges, or maybe a can of soup, not diluted, added to it. I've often used tomato soup when caught out like this.
