I believe that psychology is only as good as the people practicing it. There are some who are excellent, have a gift for understanding and helping people, and there are some who are clueless and have no business in the field.

There are some things being taught as biology that are good science. There are some junk ideas in the field as well.

Same with any area of science.

i don't put my trust in science or philosophy or biology or psycology. doesn't mean they aren't useful tools for understanding. i thoroughly love science and enjoy biology as a christian. i just don't gobble up what my faith doesn't warrant. evolution isn't science... it is men being frenzied into not accepting God.
