You will find the most sales for furniture happening after the Christmas holiday. According to Jacylyn Hirschhaut, vice president of American Home Furnishing Alliance, the best time to buy furniture is usually every January. Reason being is not because of the winter sales but actually new product will launch in February and they need to clear the last year products and make way for the new ones. Hope this helps!

Ehh two part answer. Do I like Christmas and happy holidays and everything? Yes, I know it makes me generally happier, and it tends to help bring families together. Dump the religious significance of it, though that is a factor, a holiday can bring separated families together better than anything else. Schools let their students off, parents get off of work, everyone can just get together and be happy. I do love camaraderie. Do I like it THIS EARLY? No! I agree with you in that regard. People were getting hyped up about Christmas two weeks before Thanksgiving. It was simply ridiculous. After December 10th I'd say, it's ok to start getting in the spirit and all. But there should be an unspoken time limit to when holiday celebrations should start.

Want a changed home for Christmas then buy before but if you are looking at saving some money then buy after Christmas.

Before Christmas. Furniture stores see a drop in sales while everyone is in the malls and big box stores so they offer their best sales at that time.

Before-during the fall season, that's when most furniture companies changed out the old furniture so you'll get a better deal.

I would say rent furniture before if you are having alot of family over. & buy furniture right before for sales and get it delivered after so that way its not all sat on and spilt on lol
