Religious arrogance and especially condemning and focusing on otherès conduct is not a "spiritual" quality. It is the mark of a week mind and un open heart.

Thank God you are able to read about all what you discribe from free press, a world that expose what needs to be address in order to take action and correct it, as a society.

If you are not looking into yourself, you are certainly not a Christian, nor someone from a religion that respects humanity for it is only by changing one self that the world gets transformed. So what are you doing about it if you are looking outside for the flaws of others ?

Do you celebrate holidays? Christmas is not a holiday about Christ, but a Pagan holiday brought over to convert Pagans to Christianity. Its name use to be Saturnalia, the worship of Saturn.

Bible is very clear that we are not to bring over traditions from others. For they are not things for us. Remember, we were brought out to get away from such practices.

2Thessalonians 3:6
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after the Messiah.

It is also clear about the so called Christmas tree that so many like to decorate and set up.

Jeremiah 10:2-4
Thus saith , Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

So if your church has put up a Christmas tree. That should make one realize some truth that is before them. For the bible is the book of answers... not men. And one should refer back to 2Thessalonians 3:6 on what to do.

Recall the story of Moses getting the tablets?. Those with him while waiting made a holiday unto G_D. But G_D did not make that holiday, in turn He punished those who made it.

Christmas is the same thing. A holiday for G_D that we created and He did not. Care for His punishment? I don't.

And a real simple one... do you wash your hands before eating bread (food)... every time?

"if a Christian means ..."?

Uh, no.

To BE Christian, one need only enter into (accept) the covenant of the New Testament for forgiveness of sin and salvation of the eternal soul thru Jesus, Son of the one true God. Acceptance must be done with a sincere and repentant heart.

The Word of God (the Holy Bible) clearly speaks concerning your "argument" ("question" ... which there is none).

Do you know that if you desire a woman in your heart or a man then you have committed the sin of adultery already in your heart? Therefore, you are no longer a virgin.

If you are so Christ-like why are you so judgemental? Did he not say "Judge not lest you be judged"? If ANY of us were perfect He would not have had to die for our sins.
