Hi there !
Chennai .?..hmm...no doubt...
it is one of the highly polluted cities...sir... Maybe you can avoid getting exposed to the dust and breeze on the way to the office...(try wearing the sort of filter or masks available from the pharmacies...okay ? at least make a try and see for the fifference....)
Also, as you suggested, get the opinion from a senior ENT surgeon for any congenital deformities or other chronic
problems of the nasal tract and throat.
Taking antibiotics very frequently is "not good" for our health.
best wishes...

Hi,
If you are having common cold, then pls take steam with a few drops of eucalyptus in it. If you are going to gym, then there the steam must be available or else take a bucket of hot water and add a few drops of eucalyptus in it and inhale. Nasal blocking or 'Polyp', as it is termed medically is a very common problem and troubles mainly in winter. Some people are allergic to dust. Avoid it and avoid pollution too. Practice Pranayaam under a trained instructor. It works miraculously on each and every ailment under the sun as Baba Ramdev claims. Breathe in fresh air. Go for a walk but do not strain. Sometimes proper blood circulation due to walking corrects this and many more problems. Avoid foods that create gas in the digestive track and eat on regular intervals. Never Starve. And pls avoid allopathy as much as you can. Take Care.

Sorry...a cold is a virus and there isn't anything you can do to actually make it go away. Make sure you are taking a good multivitamin and eating well. Take some DayQuil and get on with your life. If your cold lasts more than three days then go to the doc because after about three days it isn't viral anymore and is most likely a bacterial residual that can be treated with a Z-pack or some other antibiotic.

It sure has something to do with allergy. Try taking Cetrizine tablets, its should work. But do it on the advise of a doctor. Any Pulmonologist or Lung specialist would test you for allergy and give medicines. DONT take antibiotics like Amoxycillin frequently without the advise of a doctor.

For such problems you can become a good doctor for yourself..
Seems like you are more allergic to dust and cold than others..some people are genetically weak in immunity and some tend to have more allergic response...you can be one of them.Take steam inhalation twice daily...drink a glass of warm water before going to bed..avoid cold food and bevereges..You better consult an ENT specialist..whoever he/she may be.But doctor should have time to talk to you..do not go to a super specialist who does not have time to speak to you.
get well soon ....dude.

my guess is that you have tried most home remedies, and the standard antibiotics as well...i think you are very stressed..and probably exhausted..resulting in a lowered immunity, hence recurrent attacks ....you need to tackle this problem in 2 ways1)get a complete medical check-up, this will give your wel being report..2).you have got to build up your immunity from within...this means taking chavanprash, resting, meditating, and breathing exercises.....wish you speedy recovery...PS get aids test done as well....
