I know of electric water bowls, im not sure about battery powered though.
You should try calling your local pet stores, or go online to see before you waste a trip somewhere.
Good Luck!
I think its so awesome you care so much about your outside kitty, alot of ppl would not think of that!! :-)

Dog Water Bowl Heater

Can you run an electrical cord out from a basement window and tape around it? Is there an outlet on the house? I plug mine into the outlet in front, we have one in front and one in back. But before that at the other place I ran an extension cord out a window and heat taped it so it kept the cold out.

I don't know of any battery powered ones, cold weather leeches power out of batteries so I don't think it would last long.

I found a site that offers a heater accesory that you can put in your cats water bowl so the water wont freeze. you may have to get a larger water bowl, but it will do the job with only batteries! Here is the site:http://solarsippers.com/waterwarmer.html
Hope this helps

Not that i know of lol

Wouldnt have thought there would be much demand for it :P

Dont even think you get mains powered ones lol

If you are worried that his water will freeze, just put hot water in there and change it every day. Will take longer for it to freeze then

There is such equipment as trough heaters, but it's unlikely to be battery powered. In my experience barn cats seem to get enough moisture somewhere even if it's very cold, so maybe you don't need to worry about it.

Why don't you let the cat come in the house? He'll be safe and warm and his water won't freeze - problem solved http://www.littlebigcat.com/index.php?action=library&act=show&item=indoorsoroutdoors

I have only seen electric ones. Check your local pet store, they would probably be able to point you in the right direction.
