My current gf just told me that she wants to be friends, start back from the beginning, and take things slow. She wants to be single and have fun with her friends and felt pressure when i was going out with her. is this the end?

It should be. She is obviously not ready to settle down with just one man, count yourself lucky that she told you and didn't just go behind your back. Move on, find someone more mature and ready to commit.

If it's not, you should pretend like it is. First of all, your girl she just wants some space and she wants to see how far you will go to keep her. But the draw back to that is, she will have you whipped, don't go there, it will only end sooner than later, and you will get the short end of the stick. Remember the one who shows the least amount of interest in the relationship has the power. Let her go, and you go too. Don't lose who you are over a girl. We out number you 5 to 1, there are millions of us, and you are caught up on just one.

I have been this girl and it sounds to me like she meant what she said. Just back off and if she likes you she will come around. She won't forget about you. Don't worry.
