WWJD? Love your Enemies. Jesus wouldn't make war, especially not for profit. The fall of the Roman Empire came because of their military gaining more power, then keeping the citizenry in fear by saying things like, "You didn't serve in the military, so you have no say." (When you start hearing these things from those in the military, you know our military has become the enemy to Freedom and to America, because our Pax will fall)

A lot of christians spoke out against the war, including churches.

I am not one of them. I believe trying to create a friendly stronghold in the middle east where we have influence and a central location to hunt down terrorists was a very good reason for war, esp when Hussein practically rolled out the red carpet for us to come in. He could have prevented the war by actually following the cease fire agreements he signed after he started the first gulf war and lost.

I dont think it was handled the best after we beat the Iraqi army in a couple weeks, but part of that problem was because we were playing too much politics instead of just fighting the insurgents.

I think right wing christian conservatives tend to be more supportive of the gvt and the actions of the US. They also dont want to openly bash or criticize the US or the president because of strong patriotic sentiments. This doesnt mean they necc believe in the war. It just means they know not to bash our country and military in times of war.

I am a Christian and I think 'war' is the most stupid invention people have come up with.If I had to join an army I would want to be a general and more likely to survive.I think I am a born coward.Yet it is often needed to overthrow an evil destructive regime like in w.w.2.

Why? Because I'm Christian, and I've been against this ridiculous war from the very beginning.
