I heard there was several comments in the movie towards "killing God" .

Haven't seen the movie but I know the writer of the movie has supposedly said he wants to kill God in the eyes of Children, I will not be going to this movie.

The movie is more anti-authoritarianism than anti-Christian. At least it is according to the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops. Here's a quote:

"Leaving the books aside, and focusing on what has ended up on-screen, the script can reasonably be interpreted in the broadest sense as an appeal against the abuse of political power."

That is the plot line. But I am sure the producers are happy that you are publicizing it for them.
