I want to lose 30lbs in 5 weeks. I am a beginner at weight traning but quite fit Cardio-Wise. Plan-

Mon,Wed,Fri - Brisk Walk (90Min) & Aqua-Aerobics(45min)
Tue,Thr,Sat- Weights (45Min) and X-Trainer (30Min)

Q1 ) IS this good enough to lose 6 inches of my waist, hips, and thighs (each) in 5 weeks? Im scared to weight train as I know the scale will go up and im already 170lbs.

Q2) Should I do X-trainer after weights or Jump rope to maiximise fat loss?
Thanks Guys xxxx

thanks! is it worth doing weight trainig for 5 weeks tho:? or should i just do lots of cardio?

a x-trainer is a cross trainer /elliptical (sp?)

and im 21 :) And ive turned vegan so naturally the weight will come off due to toxins being released etc?

my diet is-

830-musli with oat milk..
1030-Exercise
1230-Hemp Protein Shake
3-rice wraps with veg in Nori seaweed and a .grapefruit...

well you forgot to tell us your age which is important. I'll assume your 20-25.

1. No, losing 30lbs. in 5weeks is an average of 6lbs./wk. which is very unhealthy. You can shoot for 15lbs. but no more than that. The ammount of loss hinges almost entirely on your diet, you should see a nutritionist for this, but if you don't know that unless you are getting 1200-1500 cal. per day your body will most likely go into hybernation mode and collect and store every calorie you take in. (yes, it's a lot of food if done right but as long as it's good you should be able to burn it all off). Finally don't be afraid of weight training, your weight is just a number. Say for ex. there are two girls both 5'6" and one weighs 140lbs. (I'm not sure how correct this is) and the other weighs 170lbs. The first one never goes to the gym but the second goes every day and has great muscles and deffinition (although not out of proportion). I would certainly go for the heavier toned one than the toothpick that has never been to the gym. Not to mention it is very hard to gain enough muscle to notice believe me I've been trying for 8mos.

2. Anyhow, jumprope will bring your heartrate up higher (not sure what an X-trainer is) and if you really want to get going well you should change that 90min. walk into a 45min. good hard run. Fat burn depends on length & INTENSITY of the cardio.

hope I helped, and good luck!

I highly doubt you'll be able to lose that much weight in 5 weeks. Most people only just start seeing results at 5 weeks.
