It's a paradox isn't it? In the Upanishads, the Vadanta tradition of Hindusim says of the mysterious divine, "He who says he knows it doesn't know it. It is he who says he doesn't know it who knows it."
Sometimes Christians, myself included, think we know all with perfection - God told us this or that througha burning bush, a talking donkey, in my own head or heart, through Jesus, the Bible, whatever. But, in reality there is only fragents and reflections of that which is beyond all my ability to understand rationally. All I know is the sensation, the feeling, the direct experience of being, the way it evidences itself when I am connected to that energy.
Many people take that as confirmation that our fragments and reflactions are the end all be all to the truth. However, I doubt seriously that any human has ever or can ever get it right. We're probably all wrong. Which is why we are to love and serve one another with grace and humility. To the extent we fail to do so it is a reflection on our imperfection, not on the existence or non-existence of the Divine Ground of Being.

in our world (Christianity), as with many humans, not all things can be asnwered with 1) a simple yes or no or 2) the same generic question.
to some questions that are poised - there are asnwers and to others there are not. this is called life and reality.
i wish there was an aswer to every question. just like there is algebra - confirmed a+b=c there is also geometry with it's proofs & theroms of - it is becuase i say it is - and no formal equation - just acceptance.

I see exactly what you're saying. But you know TRUE Christians don't have such incomplete reasonings about God. Whoever you've been talking to are not fully acquainted with the truth. Next time someone tries to tell you something like that ask him to show you with his source of knowledge: the bible.

What kind of Christians do you talk to? We can't always understand God's way. We are not skilled that way. Otherwise, we would all BE God. When we learn to just accept his ways... we are not so confused.

First, stop taking things out of context. Second, everyone who is not atheist is not necessarily Christian. Third, every atheist that I have encountered on Yahoo spends all of their time trying so hard to prove Christians wrong. Pretty lame if you asked me. I do not agree with Catholocism, but I do not spend my day making fun of them or trying to point out their faults. If you believe in something or nothing then that's awesome. There is no need to be immature and attack everyone who disagrees with you.

most times, people wants the mind of God to be what they have in mind.nobody has ascended to heaven[up in the sky] to see God if not by faith.well if you agree with me,you will always read your bible and be guided with the word of God.Thus, your speech will also be guided .your appearance will depict a true christian.
