this guy i like was talking to me on IM one night and he asked who i liked, so i told him that i liked him. He seemed cool with it and we kept talking. the next day, he sits next to me in one of my classes and starts flirting big time. like playing with my computer and joining in on every conversation. After this he doesnt talk to me anymore on IM and when he does is very brief. Last night i tried to talk to him and he left in exactly five minutes, right up to the last second. It's not like I had a stop watch but on IM it gives you the times everything was sent. it was just something i noticed. then, in school today, he tries to talk to me more like joining in on my conversations and helping me with my work and stuff. then he sits right behind me in writing and we were both turned around so we would occasionally make eye contact.
but i like him and i wanna know if he likes me too.
what game is he trying to play???

ok... first is the meeting... it was on IM... great lets get past that and now he gets to see you and talk to you at school....
the point is there is no game... an IM is no comparison to being with a person youu are attracted to... IMing you is not like class so why bother, he knows he will see you in person...
He prefers to see you in person... seeing a window with typing on it is not you... but it is how you met.. try having an IM session in person... :)
maybe with talking LOL or just text each other sitting next to each other...
I am glad you think its a game because you like the guy... dont take it personal but more of a compliment... you are real not just an IM.

That's the tricky thing about "love", "puppy love" or whatever people call it now. The best thing to do is to ask him. Yes, I know it's hard to do, but if you ask him you will know. You don't have to go up to him and say "Hey, do you like me?", this might give a different result then you expect. I suggest you try to ask him if he wants to do something after class, or get your friends together and go to the movies, the mall or whatever you like doing.
Sometimes just asking to spend time with another person asks the question of if they like you or not by itself. However don't worry about it if he just happened to want to be helpful or whatever, there are more fish in the sea then you can possibly meet in a life time.

Since he is talking to you in class, he may just trying to do something else on the computer. He could have a paper due or something and his parent was only allowing very limited interruptions.

stop trying to analyse your situation just take it slow and easy. He probably like you but just want to also see if you like him. Don't be so haste to come out with your feelings dough he sounds like he wants a challenge play hard to get with this guy. Set a trap make him think you like him one day and the next don't even know his alive sound familiar. its what his doing to you.

He is not playing at all, he is just doing the best he can to be with you without you thinking he is weird , get him some help, like hold his hand or something like that

he likes you. he probably just likes talking more in person than on aim or maybe he doesnt really know what to talk to you about on aim so he gets off so that he doesnt seem boring to you, whereas in class other people bring up topics so its esasier to talk since other people are coming up with the new topics

hes not playing a game. what i am getting from this is that one night he didnt talk to you on IM. oh no, its the end of the world. maybe he was busy and didnt have time to talk to you on IM.

He may just be liking that you like him. Just because you like somebody doesn't mean that you will like them once you get to know them better. I have had mad crushes on fellow classmates near the beginning of term and by the end of the year can't stand them once I get to know them better.
