It's a photo of my father.. and it's sitting right here. His goodness and kindness just shine through the image. As a little girl, he told me roses bloomed... just for me. He believed in me, guided me and gave me his time. He will be with me always.

I grew up in a church that had a big stained glass window of Jesus praying in the garden. That's probably the image that I most associate with the formation of my spiritual beliefs.

"Starry Night" is a good call. I was face to face with that painting in Chicago, 4 days after the 9/11 attacks. After seeing nothing but death and destruction all week, you cannot imagine how beautiful it was.

Andrew S - In the b&w pic of Ali, he's actually standing over Sonny Liston. Sorry to nitpick, but I also think it's a great pic.

Ali standing over Sonny Liston (a very famous black & white) is my fave, followed by a still from "Terminator 2" where Arnold's character gives a thumbs up as he's lowered into a pool of molten steel.
Conquering adversity, strength, courage, homor, sacrifice - all of these come to mind when I look at these.

After the JFK assassination, I remember the front page photograph of little "John John" saluting his father's coffin.

I always felt, after seeing that, that no matter what happens you can somehow find the courage to survive.

I get my inspiration by playing games, listening to music, and random thoughts during the night ^_^

I have an active imagination and yes it does get me very stressed but it has it's best traits ^_^ like when I look at a cloud I don't see the cloud I see a soaring dragon heading far into the sky ^_^.

I recently saw a picture of Christ laughing and playing with children. This is what we all need to do, show our kids we love them and lead them down the right path. Too many kids are arrogant and rude.

well im kinda copying from the other question you posted.... the 2 photos for me are the kiss on VE day, and the afghani girl...

for me... i want to do that.. i want to be able to catch those moments in time that grab your soul... ones that truly show the person INSIDE as compared to the physical body that everyone sees....

the VE day photo and the story behind it, is amazing to me... to have that level of emotion, to just grab the first woman he saw, and kiss her breathless... and someone happened to be tere with a camera.... its amazing to me that they didnt know each other..

and the afghani... her eyes captivate... truly amazing stuff..
