Yes you are correct with the statement that it cause wars and give people false hope that a big god looking over them. Also the concepts of god being all-knowing, all-loving and all-powerful are flaws.
Believer make those claims as if they are absolute claims therefore they require absolute proof

There is definitely a point to Christianity. Heaven is the biggest one. Jesus said in John 3:3 that except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. That is point enough for me, I was born again when I was 8 years old, I felt the Holy Spirit touch my heart and convict me of my need for Salvation, My need to accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and wash away all my sins. And that day He did. Of course today I still sin and make mistakes everyday but since I am a born again believer I can pray and Jesus forgives me immediately and they are forever gone, I can feel it when my sins are removed to as it is like a burden or weight I am carrying on my back and as soon as I pray and ask for forgiveness the weight is gone, there is no doubt in my mind about Jesus, I have felt his presense many times over the years and have seen His hand protect me during dangerous times, Oh there is a point all right, of course most of the world today will tell you different but ask a pastor or say Billy Graham and they will tell you the joy and peace they have in their hearts that comes from serving a living God. The Bible is the best selling book of all time for a reason, think of this, does every time you see a cross it remind you of Jesus, or when you see a steeple, there is a reason for that. I encourage you today or during this Christmas season to get our your Bible and read the Gospels, especially the book of Luke and John. The Bible says to seek and ye shall find, look for him, and you will find Him.

I don't know what's wrong with hope. Even false hope is better than nothing. There would be wars with or without religion.

Religion does not cause war
Greed of land money and power does
You can hide it in religion that still does not make it the cause
Also as long as I am not hurting you with my religion then its just fine so stop whining

religion doesn't cause wars, it's the people that are so immature that they can't even live with someone else believing in something they don't believe in that cause them.
