right-click on dvd icon, properties, select / highlight the dvd drive of choice, properties, dvd region.

Stand alone DVD player is not possible.
In the laptop, go to device manager and right click the DVD rom, then click properties. go to the dvd region to change the current setting.

It depends on the player. Search for the model number and the words "region hack" - but be wary of possibly infected websites that will try and trick you into downloading a virus....

Just a warning you can only change the region setting about five times and then it locks.

lap top easy...just google there is free software that will do this for you. As for your dvd player a bit more tricky as this voids any warranty but just google your brand/make and how to

For your laptop, use VLC player.
If plays DVDs regardless of zoning.

Computer it in Control Panel > Global Settings and you may want to check the Keyboard settings also.
DVD you may need to look in your Menu and see what available.
