I did the same thing for a while. I haven't gotten a violation since. I decided to unblock them though because I sometimes write something that can loosily be construed as insulting.

What I would do is the next time you get a junk e-mail mark it as spam and delete it. Then a window will come up and at the top click on "View Blocked Addresses". It will give you a whole list of things you've marked as spam. Highlight the one you want to unmark as spam then go down and click on "Remove Block".

Yes. Some people's accounts have been suspended because the spam filter blocked the violation notices so they couldn't appeal.

Yes, Yahoo will block it. I'd be interested in seeing what would happen if multiple users did this and whether or not the Yahoo server have problems digesting things.

Careful, this might be considered malicious behavior and you'd get, or rather not get, another violation notice.

LOL! That's funny. It's kinda like the old question: If a tree falls in the forest while there's no one around, does it make a sound? Yahoo is mostly all sound and fury but signifiying nothing. The truth is for those of us who pay for their services thru at&t, they really CAN'T legally close our accounts. Or we could sue. But at the end of time, will it really matter? Ah, but now you have me waxing philosophical.....

good idea, besides breast enlargement, violations are about the only email in the inbox, wouldnt have to check if they went to spam, or the "Christians" turned the other cheek, either way, let me know if it works,

I did that too, since I unblocked it... I get violation notices, but not notices of who has become a fan, best answers, etc.
