Whatever happens we must not reward the illegals who have broken our laws with citizenship/pathway to citizenship or anything else that would encourage the next wave of illegal immigration.

We must take away the many rewards and incentives for illegals to come here or we will always be fighting this issue. I look at this like any other crime. If the rewards outweigh the negatives the illegal act WILL always continue in mass.

No more jobs.
No more anchor babies.
No more school.
No more welfare.
No more medical.

No more illegals.

Edit to those above me: I have worked for over 12 years in law enforcement and I can tell you that "just enforcing the law" will never work. Illegals suffer few negative effects if they are caught - deportation in most cases. The positives are many and huge. Possible amnesty down the road, freebies galore, $10,000+ a year schooling for all the kiddies, etc.

Building a wall will only stop about 50-70% if it is done right. Although it is needed as a overall approach to insure that criminal aliens don't cross the border at will, it is not a pancia.

Employers should be legally obliged to report any illegal immigrant applying to work in the UK.

Any thought of an amnesty is an insult to law abiding real UK people. This country is great because British people respect the law, allowing illegals to break the law will break the UK

A moratorium on all immigration. Deport all illegals. Prosecute employers. Build the fence.

Forget prospering - we are approaching third world status.

No reform needed, other than to use our technology to build databases, and give access to them so that employers can verify potential employees' legal (or illegal) status more accurately and efficiently, and give all law enforcement the ability to enforce immigration policies.

A wartime effort is urgently needed, we need secure camps big enough to hold all illegals until they can be deported.
It should be a criminal offence to employ an illegal immigrant just as it is a criminal offence to be an illegal immigrant.

Where is the difficulty in understanding the word "illegal"?

We don't need reform just enforcement
That would solve a lot of things
