The people in your dreams could be real or not; however, usually they represent an issue, so the issue is the dream' message, not the specific people. I hope it helps.

That's a very interesting question. I think they are probably a composite of people you've met in real life. If you liked the stranger, it probably means that you wish you knew someone like that in your waking life. But it would be cool if you ended up meeting someone who looked like a stranger from your dream. I have dreams about meeting my soulmate all the time, and each time he looks different. If I ever see anyone who resembles one of these men and we get together, I plan to say, "I dreamed about you. You must be my soulmate!"

I do not think they are actual people you know. They could be a combination of different people you have encountered before. Often, in my dreams I know this people really well. When I never met them before in my entire life. They do appear in my dreams more than once. Which is odd. Other people have told me the same thing. "Who are these people?"

yes, on the astral plane, which is where you go when you are unconscious like in sleep or meditation. your astral body is out there in the cosmos getting recharged and living without the rules of this ill life. the dream world is more of a reality to me than the physical world. i feel and love and meet new people compared to normal life when i just am sad all the time. learn how to lucid dream, sleep will be cooler than ever

i think these strangers are often a representation of qualities we like or dislike depending on the character. so you may not know the person in the dream in real life but you know the qualities

the individuals on your targets likely represent thoughts which you have been having at that think approximately your existence; as an occasion, in case you're preserving all your anger bottled up on your waking existence; you will meet somebody on your dream who expresses their anger needless to say, without hesitation. This character might represent your opt to do the comparable. once you dreamt of the baby once you have been around 12 years previous you have been probably dealing with a level of feeling on my own and easily needed a buddy who you are able to desire to absolutely relate to. the rationalization you know the names of those people is because of the fact they are somewhat component to you; your subconsious desires on the time.

It's hard to say.
Even if you live in a small town, you meet, talk to, walk and drive past so many people each day. It stands to reason that many starngers who show up in dreams are people seen at random or as a blur going by. Consciously we don't remember them at all, but since our brains have very little "delete" function, we see them, our brain stores the information, and uses the info in dreams as it tries to process the piles of information it has contained and stored in it. I have been realizing that dreams are more often my brain's way of organizing and filing the information it has been collecting throughout the day more than as a source for inspiration and truth. (Some of my dreams have been total lies) Strangers in my dreams I meet at random are people I glanced at walking through the mall, the cashier at the store, people driving by I glanced at on the road, and my brain uses them as the cast of characters filling roles in the movies it plays in my dreams as it tries to organize things.
SO a strange guy in my class who looks like Santa Claus suddenly shows up in my dreams not only as Santa Claus but as the real Santa Claus who loves me with the love of kindness and giving. And in real life he was just someone I talked to because he was in my class at school. Or I dreamed of another guy in my class at school who barely speaks to me who is suddenly pleading to be my next ardent lover in a dream. Or my dog licks my toes in real life but in my dream its, well, never mind.
So yeah, strangers in dreams can be real people but remember that in your dreams they are only actors and not neccessarily in real life. Too many people assume that dreams of kissing or having sex with someone in a dream means they are supposed to "be" with that person, when in reality their brain is trying to tell them that they only accept and "embrace" that person fully for who they are.
Does that help explain things a bit?
