when you are upset with something; does that mean that you are "gruntled" when all is good?

Gruntled isn't a word, so I guess there's no direct opposite to being disgruntled! It's just one of those words!

No, but you should write to the dictionary people and suggest it. This whole talk of antonyms is getting me kind of gruntled.

How about these alternatives to the non-existent "gruntled":

blissful, delighted, glad, happy, joyful, joyous; elated, exultant, jubilant, triumphant, content, contented, gratified, pleased, satisfied
