Quite possibly. Consider the fanaticism of some Muslim states and their desire to erect a caliphate or to bring Shariah law to come Western countries.

To protect democratic institutions and complete freedom of speech in Western countires, I do think some parts of the West (including moderate Muslims) will have to fight against the more radical forms of Islam. I just hope that it will be isolated to small groups or places, and I hope that our Middle Eastern allies (currently allies in the "war on terror") would be willing to placate the insanity before it gets to that point.

I really hope that conflicts will be brought to a standstill and that people will simply learn to live and let live. There is no need for more war, and I have no desire to revive the conflicts of the twentieth century.

There is no such thing that muslims and non-muslims having a war because of the religions, it maybe for some other reasons, but being racisist is way out of the line, even if you hear what the news or other people said, its not completely true. Not all muslims out there looks for war, that just being judgmental and very unfair to muslim people.

Peace!

First I would like to give you the definition of the word "Muslim." The English word for Muslim is "Submitter", more precisely a "submitter to GOD Alone". You can be a Jewish Submitter to God or you can be a Christian Submitter to God, you can be any sort of Submitter to God Alone and its fine. So your question should really read "How many people think that there will be a war of Muhammadans against non-Muhammadans. Because there is a Great difference between the two. Anyone that dose not believe the Quran and instead follows other sources that suggest something contrary to the Quran is not a Muslim Submitter.

If anything, there could be a war of fundamentalism. However, I do not see that all muslims in the world are trying to wage war. Only a few of the fundamentalist ones. The same can be said of the christian religion as well. Look around today and you will see various fundamental christian groups preparing themselves for war. I saw on TV, a christian group that is training and teaching their kids that a religious war is coming.

Isn't that what Sept 11, 2001, was all about? i.e. Fanatical Muslims hitting hard at the only nation that can stop them from taking over the world?

Last I checked, Islam wasn't taking over the world. Don't believe everything you're told.

I want to know, in what realistic scenario would America ever be "taken over" by Islam and her citizens made to learn Arabic? You're giving that tiny sect of crazy extremists way too much power if you think they're capable of that. That's not even who we're fighting right now! Don't worry, your Superbowl Sunday drink-fest and booby mag are safe for now.

EDIT: Fair enough, my point still stands. I do not believe that Islam is trying to take over the world, nor do I believe we're fighting against that right now. If Islam was truly trying to take over the world, there would be a lot more countries fighting right now.

The majority of Muslims are peaceful. You're ascribing the fringe too much power.

EDIT: WOAH. You all need to take a step back. TheReligionofPeace.com is a propaganda site with no basis in fact. It's really easy to put any story you want behind a picture. Go to snopes.com if you don't believe me. That site is completely false and created by hateful people, and how DARE you tell M.Q. to go there after she tells you she's Muslim.

Why don't you read some unbiased material that serves to educate you, instead of letting yourself get swayed by propaganda and lies.

ALSO, last I checked, it was Christians who proseletyze and spread their religion to every corner of the globe. When are people going to fight against THAT take-over. You might say they do it peacefully. Well, then you don't know what you're talking about. My own grandfather (Navajo) was in a boarding school where they called him a savage and a monster, forced him to adapt "white Christian" values, and when he tried to speak his own language or refused to read bible verses, they tortured him. They made him kneel on marbles for hours holding his arms straight out with a bible in each hand. This happened all over the world in the Christian quest to assimilate and destroy other cultures. So don't come to me with your "holier-than-thou" fearmongering.

Jesus must be ashamed of all of this ignorance and hate.

The rest of the world is not fighting back, just being reluctant about rolling over and accepting it.

Muslims have been commiting religously motivated genocide in parts of Africa un challenged for 20 years.

The socialists won't realise whats happening untill its their turn to be beheaded,

There already is and it's been going on since the Crusades. Non-Islamics have had to fight to defend themselves from Islamic expansion.

With the current and historical trends, it is just about inevitable.

It'll be nice though to see India, China, the USA, and Europe all united though in a common cause.
