Actually, in Islam, there are only two types of people. Muslims and those who need to be killed . . . I mean converted.

I don't think this is true! Muslims share similar beliefs and values as Christians and Jews so they are mentioned more in Quran. There is mention of thoses worshipping idols, sun, moon and athiests.
All these years Islam went from East to West and didn't impose it so when now when there is no Muslim army why does everyone feel Muslims are imposing their religion?
When a Muslim makes the newspaper he is labelled Muslim, when an athiest does no one declares his religios beliefs. Maybe we should all write to the newspapers. This way everyone's beliefs get a fair mention.

Do you really want to lose that shiny top contributor badge and all those points you worked so hard for mate? Well...here is some things I have learned, and conclusions that I have come to concerning Islam.
Islamists find our way of life a threat to their way of life, and the truth honestly is that extremist Islam cannot peacefully co-exist in the modern world and civilized society. However, as long as we continue to import millions of barrels of crude from their lands that are hotbeds of Islamic fanaticism, guess what?? The PC brigade will rally to protect their freedom of religion at the cost of innocent human lives and non-defense of human rights.
Now, I'm not saying Islamic countries are the sole culprits of human rights violations and extremism, but it's 2007, and women are human beings. They should be allowed to vote, drive, apply for a job, not be beaten, go to school and wear whatever they please. Just my .02 cents.
Here are some classics that Muslims LOVE to claim about the evil Western world:
-USA rape happens every .7 seconds (false btw)
-Women are exploited in the west because we are on TV ads and magazines (um, they gets paid quite well)
-Western women are all whores (whoa, where is my cut of this? Whores get paid right? My hubby doesn't pay me outright for "services")
-We are all immoral, immodest and unchaste (?)
-We don't wear clothes (??????)
-We all eat pigs, and therefore think like them (erm, ok)
-Their women are so highly revered, and we are dissed (lol)
-We are truly the oppressed ones (I just drove myself to work, paid the mortgage, took out about $500 from my checking account to shop and I didn't clear it through my husband BECAUSE WE ARE A TEAM, NOT A SLAVE AND MASSA).
Anyway, the Christians and Jews are people of the book to them, so they may get more merit than a typical infidel (like myself). But you know what? Opinions are like anuses, and everyone has one. And we all know what comes out of those, so guess how much I care???

Please, please, please don't let them know atheists exist at all LOL! I actually love it that they don't bother us with questions ''Do you know that you will burn in Hell if you don't accept Islam?''
But seriously, I know what you're talking about. I have spent years closely studying Islam, including in-depth study of Qur'an and Ahadith and I consider myself knowledgable of Islam. But whenever I ask them a question they either don't respond or respond in the manner you've described.
They think of Christians and Jews easier to reach and convert. We're the tough cookies here.

It's probably hard to imagine you're an atheist, for someone who lives in a nation where religion is mandatory.

Pagans are growing, Atheism is starting to dominate them all.
And pastafarianism is growing exponentially everytime someone contributes to stop global warming.
