Good morning my fellow 'deniers' of the holy spirit!

I have attempted to follow all the Presidential Candidates, but every time I find something I like about one, I look at the rest of what they support and everything is Christian! Not supporting gay rights or anything their 'god' doesn't approve of.

I want to spend a little time and devotion into this next election - who are you going to follow and why?

I have really been thinking abut this alot. We need sane leadership desperately. I'm hoping for a Clinton-Obama ticket next year. I don't care which is president and which is vice.... the two of them together would probably be best.

Why? We need international diplomacy in order to make this nation more secure. We need people who will also look after our domestic policy well. Further, they are going to have to be able to fix the enormous mess left behind by the Bush Dictatorship: constitutional rights, economic problems, a war to clean up, and integrity/respect to re-establish.

It will take a dedicated team... Clinton and Obama are the big team builders. No one person can fix this mess.

This is a very good question. A couple of weeks ago yahoo had a questionnaire about politics. You fill it out and it matched your answers with the positions the candidates take.
Guess what, I answered each question truthfully and the closest match I got to any presidential candidate was 35% and that was Fred Thompson. I liked him in Law and Order but I don't think I want him as my President.

Being a conservative and an atheist means that I always have to compromise on a candidate. I like Rudy because taxes and terror are my two biggest issues right now. He is a fairly liberal socially, which when I deviate from conservatives tends to be where it is.

You aren't going to find one that isn't a little delusional for a while. So you just need to get over it.

as long as I trust their evaluations on the subject concerns, i might vote for them regardless of faith. Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Taoist, Pagan, none of that concerns to me, this is all very own stuff. I wanna know what the presidential applicants are gonna do on the subject of the sucky economic gadget, no longer in the event that they pray. And by using the way, for me it would not be a distinction of religion, i'm agnostically atheist.

It won't happen until those who oppose the christian ideal can get together and agree on a canidate.
Voting blocks work
That is why they say things like
Get the Black vote
Get the Hispanic vote
Get the Christian Right Vote

I'm basically behind Giuliani, but he's the only Republican I would even consider voting for. I like how he handled NYC as mayor. If Giuliani doesn't win the nomination, I'm voting for whatever Democrat is on the ballet.

If he ran, I would vote for Mike Bloomberg, the current mayor of NYC but he's made it clear he's not running. Too bad, there was a bunch of speculation on his candidacy earlier..

Sadly, it's all about the lesser of the two evils. I guess I'm going to end up voting for whoever wins the Democratic primary. If I had my way though, I wish Gore was running again. I understand why he won't though. He was already voted president once and NOT ALLOWED to be president. I'd be mad if that happened to me too.

Kucinich.

Unfortunately, his chances of winning are very small. Below is a list of where he stands on certain issues. He doesn't mention gay rights there, but he does support them. (Keep in mind that it's his campaign website, so it'll probably paint him in a slightly more favorable light than an impartial site. It gives good info on his policies though.)

trying to follow all of them but none so far look promising; well that's not true, Seems that the top two are Rudy and Hillary.

I kind of favor Ron Paul or Joe Biden
