This is a mystery, but I believe Jesus Christ was 100% Man and 100% God. He went through a normal human life with-out sinning.

Our Lord was a Genuine Man .. the Son of Man... and He was also the Word of God... The Son of God.

Half would not cut it. For what the Lord had to accomplish for our Salvation..it would take 100%Godman to do. He was touched with ALL the feelings of our infermaties. If He were only half human He'd not be in touch with " ALL"... He knows what it is to thirst, to grieve and feel deep compassion for sinners, to be righteously angry, to be tempted, to be beaten and scorned, what it is to be a teenager, an older brother who had to help raise younger siblings, how to be a child submitting to His parents, what it is to not be attractive outwardly, what it is to be called something your're not... the Pharicees called Him Belzeebub...he knows what it is not not have a home to live in or a place to rest your head....He had to have calluses on His feet from all that walking and a sore throat from having to shout over the sea to teach and proclaim the gospel. He knew what it meant to be alone. The devil even tried to have Him commit suicide by telling Him to jump off the highest part of the temple. I tell you.. OUr Lord is a genuine man.

For Him to Lay His own life down and take it up again.. and not just that of Himself.. He raised Lazarus.. the Little girl... and all those saints who recently died when He resurrected. THIS TAKES 100% God to do.
In our Lord .. as a man.. dwelled ALL the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
He came in the likeness of the flesh of sin. His humanity did not have the evil of sin in it... but it had the likeness and this is crucial.. had He been sinful as we who are born in sin then He would be disqualified to be the " Spottless Lamb of God" Who takes away the sins of the world.

PRiase the Lord.. we have a the genuine article. Our Lord.100% GODMAN!

Jesus Christ came as 100% God, and 100% man, so that Jesus could live as we did, although Jesus was also God, But Jesus had to live as we did, and turn away sin, to take ours to the cross as a sacrifice so that we might be saved.

Jesus IS God's Word in the flesh. He IS 100% God and because He was born of a woman He IS 100% man. I know that is hard to understand but He IS (not was).

See sandy's explanation.

I guess that would be one way to look at it. But I think the important part is it tells us that he was, while being the Son of God, subject to the same human urges that we all battle each day.
It also allows us to understand that, with the correct relationship with God, we can also live sin free life's.
But never forget that Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God and that He died for all our sins.

Jesus was fully God and fully man. something that most of us cant grasp, but it is still how it was. Its all in Gods word.
Lets follow PURSUE Jesus in all things, and be an overcomer as He was, in perfect submission to the Father. This is also part of our calling. Jesus came that we may be saved, and also be overcomers , overcoming sin as He did.
We must fully submit to God to do this, and do His will and not our own, and count it all as JOY. Jesus came that we be free of sin, not free to sin. God forbid.
Great question. God bless you.

He was a man perfect like Adam with a divine destiny as the son of God and the son of man. David was his father.

Look up hypostatic union. It is a term that describes His nature. But basically it means He is 100% God and 100% man.
