Ditropan - bladder spasms?

Question

I just started Ditropan 5 mg about 6 days ago and am still not noticing much relief from going to the bathroom. I don't have any problem during the night - just all day. Does anyone know how long it takes before you start getting relief and do you think it may take a larger dose such as 10 - 15 mg. Thanks.

Note: I did see an urologist and he ruled out any kind of tumor, etc.

it may be that ditropan won't work for you at all, it doesn't for some people....but don't lose heart, there are other medications that help with that problem. Give it another week or so, and if you still get no relief it would be time to see a urologist.
