Don't worry you will be fine. It is not like you robbed a bank or are in jail lol.

Oddly enough people associate quitting school with failure. I am not sure why. You still learned wile you attended school. That education is not wasted because you can't show a diploma. Many people get burned out and need a break. If you choose to you can always go back to school.

It is possible that people shy away from you as you don't have a bachelor degree. Do you have an associate degree?
If not try and see if you can get one. It just shows people that you did attend college. Most do not want to take a risk with a starting business. That is especially true when a lot of money is on the table.

Most Universities do offer classes in real estate. Check them out. You need to prepare for a state test I believe. I would work with a established real estate firm to get a feel of the business. After you gained more experience start your own business.

You haven't ruined your future. You just have chosen a different path, but did you take the honest time to really think things over is what people are probably wondering.

Real estate isn't easy. People think houses can sell themselves and sometimes they can.

BTW, who's not giving you a chance? Real estate agencies? If so, it's because you have to be trained in selling homes. Call around and ask which agencies offer classes. Keep in mind that your first year, you wouldn't really be making any money because you have to spend a certain amount of money to set your name up as realtor in the business world: professional photos, advertising, business cards, promos, etc. etc. Mostly advertising.

first you didn't ruin your future.. but right now with the business slow in the housing market I don't think that real estate people are looking for employees... But if this is something that is more your passion and something to make a career out of you need to go to school for it. Once you have a certification then see about joining a local firm with not a lot of in house employees.. Also ask your local rep. what ones are the best and what things you need to be lic. in your state...

Good luck...

It's a shame that you lost your motivation for a nursing career. But it's better to have discovered this now. Have you taken real estate courses? Do you have your license/credentials to sell? It might be best, after you prepare, to work with someone for awhile first, hands on. I'd begin with preparation. Me, I took one course and was bored to tears, lol. I wish computers had been invented when I was beginning. Good luck with your work! You can do it you know.

check if you can go back.
Then finish one thing before you start another. Having a degree in nursing does not mean you cannot make a career in another business

If you have the money to do so then by all means do it. Show the ones that won't support you that they were wrong. Good Luck!
