I have a follow up question. How many of you who said "What is written in the Bible" keep Sunday instead of Sabbath?

Christmas instead of Tabernacles?

Easter instead of Passover?

Lent?

Eat things that the church potluck that the bible tells you is not food?

Pass the offering plate after the congregation is worked up into a fanatical frenzy by the worship service?

Teach that the law was nailed to the cross?

Teach that when you die you immediately go to heaven?

Teach that when you die you wait till the "rapture" then rise and meet Yeshua in the sky? (and why can't you see that these last two are a contradiction)?

Repent! The kingdom of God is at hand!

I would hope so. Traditions have become more important than what the Bible actually says. Many traditions are even in direct contrast to Biblical teachings. No wonder some people get confused. This is a sad fact that is destroying Christianity.

Most live by tradition of man not instruction of God. But do not admit it or even recognize that they do. For instance worshiping on Sunday. Not that there is anything wrong with worship on that day but it is not the day that God set apart for special time with Him to recognize Him as the creator of all things. Most people ignore that instruction. and then there is Christmas and other holidays that man has made "holy" only God can make something Holy. I know they have good intentions but the true fact is that they are ignorant without excuse. There is a part of my heart that feels sad for these people, but then there is another part of me that rejoices as it is just another thing that proves that the word of God is true.

For example, the holidays. So-called Christians celebrate these, yet they are deeply rooted with pagan origins and idolatry. They obviously don't research the Bible enough if they are blindly celebrating something that clearly goes against God.

Yes I have. There has been times that things I have believed, not because anyone taught me, but because I read it without studying. So I am still learning and correcting things.

Yes, I have. That is what lead me to join my church. Bible based doctrines...both testaments.

To Tzadiq, I keep Sabbath!

i read the bible and use it to dictate my life.........not tradition and teachings of men

Rightly dividing the word will make you understand spiritual vs physical

the old testament is no longer in effect but the teachings can still guide you to truth.
