The only true God is the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Join my fellow Pastafarians in prayer on Talk Like a Pirate Day for a true revelation.

Meditate/pray, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, and be open to good inspiration from all possible sources. Then think of what would be the most moral spiritual being, that would inspire you to do the most good for yourself, and for the world. A moral being that would get the most out of you in terms of spiritual development and human potential. Use your inspiration to paint the best picture of God, while asking God to help you do this.

Are you actually looking for God? Always start by seeking the One, by whatever name, who created you.

Those who claim to be morally responsible for what they do are actually refusing to accept responsibility. This is true because we cannot make the rules and be our own judge. If we don't have a moral authority over us to whom we have an obligation to obey, we will always adjust the rules so that we fit.

That is why even criminals plotting their next crime think themselves basically morally responsible.

It's really your decision, Lazarus, but If I had to recommend just one, it would be Stephen Roberts.
