probably...I have a friend that never went to college and she works in HSBC's mortgage department. I think a college degree will look good no matter where you apply as long as you have the skills required for the job.

You probably can, but you'll have to demonstrate that the skills you bring are a good match for the job description. Make sure your resume points are germane to the position you are applying for. Be friendly and concise in your cover letter - proof read! And, dress like a banker when you do get the in-person interview.
Half of getting the job you want is being confident that you bring a good skill set, being able to communicate that skill set, AND showing you are willing to learn! Good luck!
