Just pick one: there's love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, temperance, faith and meekness.
So which one do you need and why?

*smacks head* Ok, whatever! "Fruit" or "Fruits" ..... Just answer the question! Lol
As for me, I need more love. Lately, I've been dealing with different relationships, and not in the good way. If I say I love God, how can I NOT love the brethren and the rest of mankind? "Love bears all things and believes all things..." ! Cor. 13

For myself, I need more peace. I tend to get rattled too easily when negative things happen. I eventually calm down and trust God, but my initial knee-jerk reaction is to get rattled.
How would YOU answer this question? :-)

We learn from scripture that these are not individual "fruits" from which we pick and choose. Rather, the fruit of the Spirit is one ninefold "fruit" that characterizes all who truly walk in the Holy Spirit. Collectively, these are the fruits that all Christians should be producing in their new lives with Jesus Christ.

I memorized them from the NIV text when I was a new Christian so which ever one means self-control. (I wouuld normally know it, but I was up until 2:30 this morning and then was back up at 6, so I'm not thinking too clearly right now!)

Temperance. I get pretty mad at the people at work. It would help if they did their jobs in a halfway efficient manner, but they don't. Either I need to get better about keeping cool, or they need to grow a work ethic. Probably both.

I suppose I would need meekness. I'm a fairly arrogant guy, and learning to be less so may be beneficial to me. Then again, I tend to be confident and successful at things I set myself to because of my attitudes toward me, so "Need" would be subjective in this case.
Be well in all things

First things first.
"Wisdom" is what man needs more of!
Without "Wisdom" man cannot fully understand what the "fruits of the spirit" are!

If you look a little closer you will see that the word is actually "fruit" which is singular. They are combined into one, thus you need them all.
